Following the recent Full Moon, our lunar companion will gradually diminish in brightness each evening. The change won't be immediately obvious, but within several nights observers will notice darkness encroaching from the eastern edge. This gradual fading will persist until the New Moon phase, when the lunar surface becomes entirely obscured from view.
